There is a concept I'd like to talk about with today's tip, which is related to it, and briefly discussed, but I feel it makes up the beating heart of today's Quick Tip. "Aim small, miss small" is the saying in question, and it's one I personally am very familiar with as a former pitcher. The idea is that the smaller of a target you set for yourself, the closer you will end up to it. Though it's unrealistic to hit your target with every shot, you are dealing with a very usable result. Approach shots make for the most common example of this on the golf course. I would also like to add that setting a smaller target will give a more granular idea of any common errors in your swing based on the results. Tune in for this edition of Quick Tips, where Tim Graves, PGA, runs through approach shots, and how setting a very specific target can help you build much better control.
