Shaft lean is a topic we often cover here at Graves Golf, in pretty much all aspects of the game. In today's tip. Today, we cover it as it pertains to your putting game. The ideal putting stroke is entirely linear, and the body's natural movement is anything but. I've said that before in one of my Quick Tip emails, but didn't elaborate much further. When it comes to creating a linear motion, there are two pivotal parts- shoulders and wrists. The latter is the subject of today's tip, so let me give you a short breakdown of what I took from the video as a learner. The wrists are a massive factor in keeping a straight stroke with your putter, as they both stabilize and help create shaft lean, which when paired with your shoulders, will give the foundation of a fundamentally strong putting stroke.
