Understandably, when you're setting up for a drive, you're probably focused on actually hitting the ball. What happens when we remove that from the equation? Well, to start, you'll swing faster. Perhaps the lack of a target is the cause of that, but you can expect 4-5 extra miles per hour of swing speed without a ball in front of you. Turns out, it's pretty important for building strength and balance as well. For me personally, it was overspeed/underspeed training between a broomstick and a bat filled with sand, respectively. Your body takes the overspeed training (swinging something lighter than a club) as a way to train your balance and speed. It takes the underspeed (something heavier) as a way to build up power. Join Tim Graves, PGA, and Christian Henning, TPI, as they discuss the importance of overspeed training.

Quick Tip - Take It Slow
"What goes up must come down." Ever heard that saying? If taken literally, it is just referring to gravity, or if taken metaphorically, that a crash always follows a high, but let's look at it in the golf swing today. If I can get a little nerdy with y'all for a sec, I'd like to talk about the en...
