If you were to master a single thing first about your full swing, what would it be? Position 4, impact, is excluded here. I'm sure some of you that come over the top would say that you'd master your downswing, a valid answer. I'm sure there are others that would love to have mastered the backswing enough to have the flexibility to achieve maximum torque. Again, a valid answer, but I'd argue there is actually a correct answer here. Your setup is where your swing begins. If you do it poorly, it can be the end of it too, as everything that follows will be off. Taking that domino effect into mind, your address is the most critical part of the swing. Join Tim Graves, PGA, as he runs you through how far away to set up from the ball.
