Quick Tips - The Right Feeling

When it comes to the positions of the swing, I'd be willing to bet that there are two positions that are left out more often than not. I've written a lot of these by now, and what we're going to be talking about today are my two least covered positions, that being positions 5 and 6, AKA release. The reasons for this are a little mixed. Firstly, A proper release is a natural conclusion to a proper swing, the second is that it is a lot of feeling. When asked about his release position, Moe famously said that he "Stood like that for a whole day." That is to say, he was in that position long enough. He 'found' that position by building the feel. Make sense? Build the rest of your swing correctly, build up your feel for your follow-through, and the rest will fall in place. Join Tim Graves, PGA, as he gives a rundown on how to build the right feeling for positions 5 and 6.
