When it comes to our teaching here at Graves Golf, we talk a lot about address. This is for good reason, obviously, as when paired with your grip, it makes up the starting point for your swing. That's today's topic, specifically how your stance mechanically impacts your pitching game. When you're pitching, you aren't taking a full swing, so some small adjustments have to be made. They key here is in the title of the tip, you've got to cheat the hips. By opening them up, you'll be able to clear the trail elbow, and your hips will be able to stay ahead of your shoulders. Like I said, a lot of mechanics today, but if you're struggling with your pitching, this is definitely one for you.
