In every sport that requires you to hit something with something, we have to start looking at launch angles. Golf, baseball, cricket, if it's a game of sending the ball as far away from you as possible, your launch angle is going to be everything. There's times where you want to send it up high and let the wind do the work, and some times where the wind is your enemy and it's the exact opposite. Minimum fly maximum roll is the big rule of thumb here, but I won't spoil the actual answer to the optimal launch angle for your driver here.
