Folks, I've written many Quick Tips about mechanics by now, and for good reason. Golf is a rotational sport, so the majority of energy in the swing isn't generated by the arms, but is instead generated at the hips. With that in mind, if the hips shift back or forwards during the swing, all of that power can be lost as your center of gravity shifts. That's a lot of words to say that oversliding can kill your swing. As with all mechanics, it can be learned and drilled, so join Tim Graves, PGA, as he runs you through how to keep your rotation tight, and how to keep the slide from draining your swing.
