As I've said time and time again, your mechanics are everything for your swing. With that in mind, one of the best things you can do for your game is work on your positions. One error in a position can throw a wrench in the whole swing, so naturally, it makes sense to start with address. Once you've got that down, you'll have a solid foundation to build the rest of your swing on. Mechanics has to do with feel, so you're going to need to be making sure you're not giving yourself the wrong information. You can always have a coach proof your address, of course, but I'm here to recommend something even simpler. When it comes to proofing your positions, your mirror is your best friend. It's always available, and can help you work on your mechanics even on the rainiest of days. Join Tim Graves, PGA, as he explains training with the man in the mirror.
