Today we continue with the positions talk, specifically from setup to the top of the backswing. If you've been paying attention and are seriously working on your swing, then the significance of these positions is a no-brainer. What you're doing between when you set your feet and start your downswing is critical, here's why. Think of your swing like an electrical circuit, now let's imagine a part of that circuit is broken. It wouldn't matter at what point the circuit got severed, the result would still be the same- no output. Your swing is similar in that if you are making errors at any position, your results will suffer. Positions 1 and 2 set up the rest of your swing, and errors in them will lead to a very common error - casting.
