Today's Quick Tip is one that goes a little deeper than the subject matter necessarily suggests. As Tim says early on in the tip, some things, like hovering the driver off the ground at setup, really come down to a comfort thing. When I say 'comfort' I don't mean something that's easy, I mean something thats a routine. The people who read this who know me will get a good laugh out of this, but I'm a creature of habit, sometimes to a fault. A routine gives me structure, a way to do things without any hesitation or fuss, and a way to sort myself out when I'm stressed. That sort of thing can be very beneficial in the world of sports too, and honestly is part of the beauty of it. Hovering the driver, whether you do it or not, is part of your unique pre-shot routine, your structure in the middle of an ever-changing round. Good players don't develop pre-shot routines, pre-shot routines develop good players, so tune in for this edition of Single Plane Quick Tips, hosted by Tim Graves, PGA.
