Quick Tips - Transition Troubles

Out of all the positions of the swing, it's fair to say that often the most emphasis are put on positions 0 and 4. While this is for good reason, as setup and impact are critical, for my money they aren't quite as complex as positions 2 and 3. For the sake of simplicity while writing this, I will be referring to them as backswing and transition/downswing respectively. What makes these two positions tough for a lot of people, myself included, is that they include a lot of kinetic motion that makes up the backbone of the swing itself. Over-swinging, over-rotating, coming over the top, there are so many problems that can arise here. That's why it's important to have drills that will help you work on this. Once you practice and dial in those mechanics, it will take a lot off of your mental stack out on the course. Join Tim Graves, PGA, as he gives a rundown on how to keep your transition on track.
